Below, you will find a portion of the various editing and writing services I provide to clients who are ready to differentiate, communicate, and attract more and better clients and customers. This is not a complete list. I am always adding more services to That Wordsmith, and can customize anything you see here to fit your needs.
That Wordsmith provides:
Ghost writing – I help my clients communicate comfortably and effectively with their customers and clients by taking their concepts and messages and translating it into a clearly understood communication that retains the client’s authentic “voice.” I don’t write for you, so much as I write as you.
Article writing – Most of my clients find it easier to talk about their business than to write about it. My article writing service takes transcribed conversations or interviews with clients and turns them into useful, informative, publishable articles credited to the clients.
Editing – Clients who have already started the writing on a project, but have gotten bogged down, benefit from my editing and writing project completion services. You start it and I’ll finish it.
Proofing - Everything looks better when it’s spelled correctly, formatted correctly, and polished before printing. I provide that oft-needed last look to clients who want to spend their money on printing costs wisely.
Re-purposing material – I repurpose content that clients have used in the past, and want to use again, by updating the clients’ current purposes and services and shifting the purpose of the message. Old catch phrases can be restated. Old content can be updated. Fresh wording can bring new meaning to old material. Material used in a past marketing campaign can be repurposed for a fresh Home page.
Multi-purposing material – To do this, I take a clients’ newly-minted message and adjust it to fit multiple media. By rewording a message slightly, that content can be fit into a web page, a brochure and a newsletter, without sounding repetitive or boring.

After talking with a client, I take the concept and the message and turn it into a final product that says something meaningful and engaging to the clients and customers they most want to attract.

How Does It Work?
When you express interest in becoming my client, I will send you a Copywriting Snapshot. This is a short, email questionnaire that asks the most basic questions necessary to determine what you need and how I can help you. By answering these questions before we have a long conversation, we are both better prepared for our first meeting to be efficient and productive. The Snapshot also gives you the time and space to clarify your needs and goals, and it often brings up questions and decisions that are best made prior to beginning the project.
